FIVE PREMIER CIRCUITS LEAD TO THE IFLAG NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AND THE IFLAG WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. EVERY TOURNAMENT IS OPEN TO ALL TEAMS.

October 1, 2026 — iFlag Youth, powered by 5v5 Sports, today announced Road to Worlds, a connected tournament platform for competitive youth flag football teams. Road to Worlds links five regional Premier Circuits to the iFlag National Championship and the iFlag World Championship, giving teams one season with a clear path from their home market to the championship stage.

Road to Worlds is built for everyone who shows up on Saturday. Coaches get one connected season instead of a string of unrelated weekends: a regular season close to home on a Premier Circuit, with every tournament building toward Nationals and Worlds. Athletes get games that matter, in divisions seeded to how their team is actually developing, and a road that leads to the championship stage. Families get a season they can see and plan for, with every date, venue, and age group published in one place and no qualification standing between their team and any event on it.

The 2026–27 calendar published today lists 20 Premier Circuit tournaments across five markets: SoCal, NorCal, Tampa Bay, Las Vegas, and Dallas. Premier Circuits are where teams play their regular season. Every Premier Circuit tournament is open to all teams, and no qualification is required to enter the National or World Championship.

The iFlag National Championship takes place January 15–17, 2027, at the Sportsplex of Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida. Registration is open now. The iFlag World Championship takes place July 9–11, 2027, at Ontario Sports Empire in Ontario, California.

WORLDPATH POINTS

Road to Worlds introduces WorldPath Points, which connect a team’s participation and performance with how it is seeded at future Road to Worlds tournaments. WorldPath Points are not a national ranking and not an entry requirement. They begin at the iFlag National Championship in January 2027, and full scoring details will be announced in December 2026. Road to Worlds officially begins August 1, 2027, with the inaugural points window running through July 31, 2028.

BOYS AND GIRLS, EVERY AGE GROUP

Every 2027 Road to Worlds tournament offers boys and girls age groups from 7U through 18U, odd and even. Age groups may be combined based on participation.

“Coaches have been asking for a season that connects, where the tournament you play in November has a place in the road to July. Road to Worlds is that season, and it is open to every team that wants to be part of it,” said Monty Holloway, Executive Director, iFlag Youth.

REGISTRATION

Registration is open today for the iFlag National Championship and several Premier Circuit tournaments, with the rest of the 2027 calendar opening through the season. Every tournament, its dates, and its registration status can be viewed at iflagyouth.com/tournaments.
